Webinar “Plastic packaging seen from a circular perspective”
Join us on 24 September at 11am for our free webinar on the future of plastic packaging. During this one-hour online event, our guest speakers Bart Calis (Arteveldehogeschool) and Esther van den Beuken (TNO) share their insights on packaging.
Bart Calis introduces us to the different reuse models and which packaging we can use for this purpose. What are the advantages and disadvantages and the points of attention towards Design for Reuse? What is the relationship between the different packaging layers (primary, secondary and tertiary)?
In her presentation “From plastic-free to future-proof plastics”, Esther van den Beuken outlines four strategic approaches for a circular economy that should be applied complementarily: Narrowing the Loop, Operating the Loop, Slowing the Loop and Closing the Loop.
Introduction and conclusion will be given by Filip Vangeel, Manager Sustainability at Valipac.
The webinar will be held in Dutch.
This webinar is free, but registration is mandatory.
