This TETRA project aims to investigate the effects of thermal and high pressure post-treatment on the seal performance of easy-open seals before, during and after treatment. The acquired knowledge creates insights on safety and quality of packaged product and the peelability of the packaging. The intended project consortium consists of research partners: Fraunhofer IVV, MeBioS and VerpakkingsCentrum / imo-imomec and associations of companies from the food industry and packaging industry (material producers and material converters).
