This CORNET project aims to support an accelerated implementation of functional and recyclable coated paper and board materials for food packaging applications. Market research will register commercial coated paper/ cardboard packaging materials. The recyclability and functionality of these materials are assessed. A matchmaking event is organized between food companies and the packaging industry. After generic case studies with a shelf life simulation tool, shelf life studies will be conducted. Finally, in-company validation will be conducted.
